In 2011 BullEx Australia designed the first three of thirteen Low Structure Mobile Training Pods for the Country Fire Authority of Victoria (CFA), the hot fire training environments include multiples of the following,

The pods were deployed by tilt tray (or hook truck) to sites around the state that were more than one hour’s drive from a CFA training campus. A full time CFA member was employed to train Brigade Captains to operate the pods and take bookings for the pods from brigade groups. Each pod would remain in situ for about four weeks before relocation to the next site. In that time brigades of the group and surrounding brigades would take their turns training on the pod.
The pods proved to be very successful, training 2000 volunteers in the first three months of operation. Volunteers were re-engaging with their brigades and in some of the larger towns where they were located, volunteerism rates actually increased.
Within a year another seven pods were commissioned. Two further pods are currently in the final stages of construction. Both in the form of a large Propane Tank, a thirteenth pod has been designed and is set for delivery in February 2021. This pod is in the form of a commercial kitchen and service counter. This last unit will also be fitted with a re-settable Forced Entry Door.
