Vee Chambers learnt about an alternative process for basic practical fire training, the BullEx Intelligent Training System. Having been adopted at Paraburdoo, the BullEx Training System greatly improved upon the way training is performed, with the following benefits:
• Fire is controlled by a hand held unit with built-in fail safes
• Greater flexibility – training can be undertaken anywhere on site and also under cover
• No extra PPE needed – site requirements are suitable
• Limits participants having to leave work area to undergo training
The cost of using the BullEx System is estimated at $3,000 per year.
